Prior to the IPL procedure, it's best to stop shaving a few days before and to avoid alcohol 24 hours before too. It is also recommended not to put any deodorant 24 hours before and after the treatment.
The procedure was simple and fast. The staff were really friendly and helpful in explaining each step and they didn't hard sell at all, compromising to their promises!
I was actually quite afraid when I first entered the room, but the staff was very nice, she just asked me to relax cos it won't be pain, probably just like an ant-bite or rubberband snapping. In the end, it's almost painless, I didn't feel a thing at all. Or maybe because I'm quite customized to "pain" on my body because of all my piercings? I don't know hehe! But I bet you, it's totally bearable! Anyway cooling gel was applied before and after the treatment. It only took me 30minutes altogether from the time I walked in!
